BMX Rider Performs First Ever Quadruple Backflip

Nitro Circus’ “Revolution Day” was held on Sunday, and this year’s event saw a bunch of BMX riders getting together to risk their bodies and egos to pursue the goal of achieving the coveted quadruple backflip. History was made by Jed Mildon who launched off a custom-built 21-foot ramp and performed the stunt with a perfect landing.

Although beaten, his recently-injured competitor James Foster is still committed to pulling off a quad of his own.

Check out the brutal attempts and the ultimate success after the jump.
