Nikon’s Dog-Mounted Camera Takes Photos Based On Heart Rate

Nikon has developed an ingenious new camera system for dogs that will read their heart rate and snap a photo from the dog’s perspective whenever it gets excited about something.

Currently, the product is only a prototype, but the company did release a promotional video showing some of the shots captured by a “phodographer” named Grizzler. As you’ll see, it’s basically a montage of other animals and a few inanimate objects, including a pair of flip-flops.
