Although limited mostly to forest fires and active volcanos, the Slow Mo Guys wanted to capture a fire tornado in slow motion, and did so by creating one artificially with box fans.

The result is mesmerizing and strangely beautiful, and will certainly make you hope that you never encounter one in the wild.

The Slow Mo Guys recently visited Taser Headquarters in Arizona in order to film a volunteer getting electrocuted at 28,000 frames per second.

The 50,000 volt shock understandably renders the volunteer, Dan, completely defenseless and the video captures the entire process, including the removal of the barbs from bare skin, in slow motion – meaning it’s not for the squeamish.

If you can bear it, you can watch it after the jump.
