If you have the necessary skills and dedication, and would like to possibly channel them into creating the next installment of Call of Duty, you may want to apply with Sledgehammer Games, who have reportedly paid for a string of internet ads to recruit people. Plus you’ll get to enjoy the perks of the job, including a company sponsored gym pass and onsite building fitness facilities, a kitchen stocked every week with drinks and snacks, state of the art studio, extensive health and dental package and a 401k matching plan.

Well, I doubt that this gorilla at the San Francisco Zoo was actually playing Donkey Kong, as the planets rarely align in such a perfect way. So, we will have to be content with the fact that a gorilla got a hold of a visitor’s lost Nintendo DS and started messing with it while Donkey Kong Jr. looked on.

Ed Fries, former VP of Microsoft’s game publishing division returns to his roots in more ways than one with Halo 2600. In fact, the game was actually released in cartridge form for a very limited run of 500 at the recent Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
That Halo cartridge will surely be a collectible, but the good news is that you can play all 64 rooms of the game online right now at Code Mystics. Check out a pic of the cartridge after the break.
In a recent YouTube production, the guy in the following video decided to take the Trololo video and customize it so that he could sing along to it on Rock Band 2, proving yet again that memes can be born out of memes. Check it out after the break.
From Nerd Approved… If you ever want to know what “patience” and “dedication” look like, check out the music video for “8-Bit Trip”, a song by Swedish band Rymdreglage. The video was created as a stop-motion nod to retro video games made entirely from Lego. The video took over 1,500 hours to complete, and required each Lego-constructed character to be moved individually, then photographed. Check out the video and additional behind the scenes photos after the break.
If you’re lazy or have self esteem issues, you’ll enjoy these video games played in super easy mode. Try not to let your jaw hit the floor when you see how remarkably tasteless it becomes at the end. Check it out after the break.
