Rebecca Crane created this map with different Star Wars planets representing each state, “assigned based on partial terrain, landmarks that correlate with the planet and state, types of people in the state and planet, famous landmarks, or slightly randomly selected (but loosely based on facts) from my brother and myself.”

However, since there were apparently several different planets that could have been used for each state, Rebecca decided to narrow them down by either choosing either the first one she came to or using what she considered to be the best fit.
