Huge, Deer Eating Snake Killed In Florida Everglades

A 16 foot long Burmese python was recently captured an killed in the Florida Everglades. Afterwards they cut the snake open and discovered it had consumed a 76-pound adult deer.

“This is clearly an extreme event,” Everglades National Park python specialist Skip Snow told the Sun-Sentinel. “It shows you they can eat huge things.”

…And apparently they can do it without exploding.
