Whether you love Apple or loathe it, there’s no denying that the secretive man behind the company is an interesting figure. Surprisingly enough, Steve Jobs authorized an official biography—the unfortunately titled iSteve: The Book of Jobs—and it’s now available for pre-order at 40% off the list price.
From the official description:
From bestselling author Walter Isaacson comes the landmark biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. In iSteve: The Book of Jobs, Isaacson provides an extraordinary account of Jobs’ professional and personal life. Drawn from three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews Isaacson has conducted with Jobs as well as extensive interviews with Jobs’s family members, key colleagues from Apple and its competitors, iSteve is the definitive portrait of the greatest innovator of his generation.
One would imagine that Jobs’ official biography would offer insights into his strategy at Apple and his personal and professional struggles—most notably with his recent health issues.
Unfortunately, the release date is still a ways off—March 6th 2012. That should be plenty of time for the publisher to reconsider the title.
