Someone decided to set a blazing hot ball of nickel on a big block of ice and record the results. Based on the size of the block, it was pretty obvious that ice would eventually win, but how the battle went down is pretty interesting.

… and that someone is almost certainly a bachelor. Whatever the case, this anamorphic 3D painting called “Crocodiles Eat” was created by German artist Nikolaj Arndt and was recently installed this someone’s house.

Like a superhero who got super-screwed in the superpowers dept, this guy has the fantastic ability to punch out candles by sending a wave of wind toward them. Impressive? Yes. Useful? Probably only at parties. Whatever the case, you can watch him in action after the jump.
