It only took about 4 months, but the Blue Marble photo of Earth has already been eclipsed by this 121 megapixel photo taken by Russian weather satellite Elektro-L No.1 from a distance of 22,369 miles.

The image, which is touted as the largest single-shot photo of Earth ever taken, was captured by combining visible and infrared wavelengths of light. Click here to view the photo with a zoom tool, or hit the jump to check out Elektro-L’s time lapse of the northern hemisphere.

YouTuber “FlippyCat” spent 65.5 hours over an eight day period setting up 60,000 dominoes just so he could watch them crumble like an imploding rainbow.

In this chain reaction there are 60 big dominos each containing 990 dominos, and a small field of 600 dominos (which says 60,000) to bring the total up to 60,000 dominos used.
